This website / blog started as a lunch conversation at work. I spent an hour recounting the best-of and worst-of baby advice and parenting experiences to a couple of co-workers. They kept calling me later to ask for “you know, that thing you mentioned” so, I decided then that I should try to write it all down. These suggestions are based on the experience of our family. Your family and your child may be very different. I hope what I have written is useful.
I am an engineer. My wife and I both work, so it always seems hard to find time to get everything done. I write most of the postings, but the content and suggestions often come directly from my wife. The ideas and products I will discuss are based on the needs as a working family - efficiency, ease of use, and economy. We prefer natural to artificial and try to avoid artificial products when possible.
We live in Rockville, Maryland with our daughter. We are expecting another daughter in October. We are happy to receive ideas or comments (email below). The blog is not open to reader-posted comments since I have seen too much spam.
